WHO WE ARE & WHAT WE DO

Northwest Saint Johns County United for Progress is a grassroots organization, made up of civically engaged individuals across NW SJC.

We focus on turning out Democratic and Progressive individuals at the local level to reshape our political landscape.

Working together, we organize our community, we educate potential voters, and we encourage voter registration, turnout, and overall involvement in civic life.

In all of our work, we strive to amplify our collective voice to build a more inclusive and representative democracy by empowering everyone and exercising our right to vote and advocate for policies that align with our progressive values.

Coffee & Conversation

Start your day off right with a hearty breakfast and engaging conversation at our “Coffee and Conversation!” Join us as we come together to connect, energize, and strategize on how to better mobilize Democratic voters and get out the vote in our community.

It’s an opportunity to connect with like-minded neighbors who share a passion for civic engagement and making a difference.

Our Coffee and Conversation meetups occur every fourth Monday of the month at 10:00AM.

General Meetings

Come together to discuss pressing issues, brainstorm solutions, and take action to create positive change in our community!

At our club meetings, we invite  guest speakers, policymakers, and community leaders to share their insights and expertise on relevant topics to guide us as we delve into a variety of topics ranging from voter education and advocacy to community service projects. 

Our General Meetings take place the 2nd Monday of every month at 7pm.

Cocktail Convos

Join us for an evening of lively conversation, networking, and civic engagement at our “Cocktails and Conversation!”

Raise a glass with fellow civic-minded individuals and enjoy a selection of beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, and non-alcoholic options while we discuss the issues facing our community, exchange ideas, and explore ways to make a positive impact through civic action.

Our Cocktails and Conversation meetups occur on the Third Tuesday of each month at 5:30PM.

Renew Your Vote By Mail Registration

Due to state law changes, Vote-by-Mail needs to be renewed after every general election.

VBM is a fundamental right that empowers every eligible citizen to participate in our democratic process, regardless of circumstance or location. Your vote is safe and protected. It’s safe and secure; Florida’s vote by mail system employs stringent security measures to ensure the integrity of every ballot.

Whether you’re a busy professional, a senior citizen, a student, or facing mobility challenges, vote by mail ensures that every eligible voter has the opportunity to participate in our democracy.
