10th NWUP Birthday Party

In May our club hit a milestone and celebrated it’s 10th Birthday.  On May 5th our members gathered to celebrate this special event.  A great time was had by all.  We all enjoyed music by Oleta Riggs, delicious food and, best of all, the companionship of our fellow members.  Alex Hazan, a candidate for Congress in District 5 was there to speak to us about his vision for the future.  We also took the opportunity to recognize our founding members, Mary and Rick Chapman and Holly Ross.  Please find an opportunity to re-visit this fun time by browsing through our Photo Gallery from the celebration.  Just hit the button below.

July 17th at 5:30 PM -Good Trouble Lives On

Good Trouble Lives On is a national day of action to rise up against the relentless attacks on our civil and human rights by the Trump administration and its allies. Across the country, we’re standing together to say: in America, power belongs to the people.

The phrase “Good Trouble”—coined by the late civil rights hero Congressman John Lewis—calls on all of us to take peaceful, non-violent action in the face of injustice. It’s a rallying cry for those who believe in building a better, more just democracy.
