In May our club hit a milestone and celebrated it’s 10th Birthday. On May 5th our members gathered to celebrate this special event. A great time was had by all. We all enjoyed music by Oleta Riggs, delicious food and, best of all, the companionship of our fellow members. Alex Hazan, a candidate for Congress in District 5 was there to speak to us about his vision for the future. We also took the opportunity to recognize our founding members, Mary and Rick Chapman and Holly Ross. Please find an opportunity to re-visit this fun time by browsing through our Photo Gallery from the celebration. Just hit the button below.
Please join us for our monthly meeting where we socialize, make new friends, catch up with old friends, share updates on club activities, report on proposed changes that may affect our community and neighbors. This month’s Special Gues Speaker will be Ms. Julie Meyer, Founder of NE Florida RESULTS Group. The organization is bipartisan, data-driven, and relentlessly focused on ending poverty in the US and globally. Julie will share the highs and lows of that journey- and why, even now, ordinary people can still influence lawmakers, shape policy, and build a legacy of meaningful “wins”.
